This party started on the 23rd at the Yak and Yeti where all the team members had arrived by the evening. Some who had arrived earlier in the day had a fascinating jaw dropping walk through the streets of Kathmandu without getting run over by motorcycles or rickshaws. With the arrival of the rest of the team in place we had brief introductions. We then    headed out to our welcome dinner at Bhojan Griha where we had our first experience with exotic Nepalese drinks (home brewed version of tequila), food and wonderful cultural folk dances. This was a great venue to get a flavor for Nepalese hospitality and team members to warm up to each other. The team comprises of a wonderful eclectic group of outdoor adventurers from within and out of the US (Georgia tilting the scale)
