Highlight If you have at least one month vacation, you can choose this itinerary to the Everest Base Camp. This is the first expedition trail to Everest Base Camp which is used by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa while climbing Mt. Everest in 1953. There is access of land vehicles to reach to Jiri. You could have excellent panoramic view of the eastern Himalaya, including Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and Dorje Lakpa. Jiri is the starting point for classic trekking to Mt. Everest. Treks begin from Jiri to Everest Base Camp. Then the we return flying out from Lukla to Kathmandu.
