The river offers an excellent medium length white water rafting trips and views of the Anapurna Region as you run some moderate to difficult rapids which make this river awesome. The river is named after the color of the water and the Godess Kali, so the river considered being holy and auspicious place to be cremated. The river originates from the Tibetan plateau draining the water of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himal joins with Trishuli at Dave Ghat. Then the Sapta Gandaki is called Narayani. The Kali George between the 8000m mountains Annapurna and Dhaulagiri is the deepest George in the world. |

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 Drive to Nayapool, about 250 kms to the West. Rafting from Nayapool to Devisthan. Overnight camping at Devisthan.
Day 02 Rafting from Devisthan to Purtighat.
Day 03 Rafting from Purtighat to Rudrabeni
Day 04 Rafting from Rubrabei to Ranighat.
Day 05 Rafting to Ramdighat and drive back to Kathmandu.
