Myagdi. Beni, Eco- Tourism Trek is new route for the trekking of Annapurna region. The Annapurna region of Nepal is very beautiful. It lies in the northern part of Pokhara. It covers the area of 7629 sq. km. The region is widely recognized as a natural paradise and constantly known as the top trekking area in the world. Annapurna region is only such region for trekking that offers varieties of natural and cultural diversity with surprising Himalayan views of Mt. Annapurna, Annapurna south, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna conservation area is rich in diversity & house for above 1200 species of flowering plants, around 100 mammals including rare snow Leopard & blue Sheep in the upper sub alpine area, 478 species of birds such as Impheyan & blood pheasants, 39 reptiles, 22 amphibians, many types of butterfly & world largest rhododendron in Ghorepani. It is also home place of famous animals & birds like Kasturee, Kokla & Danfe. We can also see development projects of wireless internet facility available in the Nagi village & other neighboring villages. On the way from Dada Kharka to Narchyang lekh there lies Khopra where we can see panoramic view of Annapurana south, Baraha shikhar, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV Gurja Himal & sunset from here & we can also see Yaks farm. On the way to Narchyang lekh there is Hindu Temple named as Khayar Barah Temple in Khayar. On the way we can see cheese making factory & visit local paper makers. We can also see many dense forests with flora & fauna, oak, Rhododendron forest & other natural vegetation. We can see the great scenes of sunshine & sunset which we cannot almost see in other parts of a country.
Agriculture, animal husbandry, tourism business are the main occupation of people in this area. Cheese making product, Paper making industry is also run by the people of this area.
Besides this, We can see numerous Streams and Waterfalls, Natural Hot Spring, wider experience about culture & religion of people, beautiful attracted places. We can also get chance to know about the life style of this area. Annapurna area is also rich on Magar culture, dress, songs & dances as Kaura, Ghatu, Sorathi,Yanima, Sailejo. Day 1: Arrive in Airport & transfer to hotel
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu includes Hindu temple Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) Monkey temple the Swoyambhunath& also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Beni. (830m) On the way we can see Green forest, hills, rivers. We have to drive through narrow & zigzag road. We have to travel through banks of Kaligandaki to reach Beni.
Day 4: Trek Beni to Banskharka (1526m) Banskharka is a beautiful Magar village in the middle of Rhododendron forest cross by streams. In this place we can see people engaged in production of oranges & honey, which you can taste & learn also.
Day 5: Trek Banskharka to Nagi (2320m) In Nagi there are several development works carried by local people like making paper from lokhta tree, runs a traditional Magar bakery. In this place there is service of wirless internet facilities which is developed by Mr. Mahabir Pun; this service helps the people of village to know about world news & awareness in people for development.
Day 6: Trek Nagi to Dhunga Gade Danda (3261m) We have to pass through Mahara Danda to reach Dhunga Gade Danda where we can see pristine views of Dhaulagiri & Annapurna Himalayan range.
Day 7: Trek Dhunga Gade Danda to Pyari Baharani Tal.(2668m) We have to trek from Dhunga Gade Danda to Pyari Baharani Tal passing through Danda Kharka, there we can see the view of sunrise &sunset.
Day 8: Trek Pyari Baharani Tal to Tikot (2250m) Tikot lies on side of smooth ridge in front of Annapurna & right above Kali Gandaki River. The attraction of this place is small beautiful temples, Bangra weaving shops & local honey production.
Day 9: Trek Tikot to Swanta (2270m) we have to trek from Tikot to Swanta passing through Baise chour. Swanta is standing at bottom of Annapurna south & along a green valley. Swanta is a perfect place for rest. There is also a lodge in this place which offers a best food you might find in your visit to Nepal.
Day 10: Trek Swanta to Danda Kharko (3026m) It is a hard trek but we have to cross through beautiful Rhododendron forest.
Day 11: Trek Danda Kharko to Narchyang Lekh (1990m) On the way to Narchyang Lekh in Khorpa we can see Khayar lekh. We can also see the Yaks farms project where yaks are in large amount. We can see magnificent view of Mountains & beautiful lakes surrounded by mountains & shines. We can also the Kali Gandaki river. In Narchyang we can see isolated Magar village in the edge of Kali Gandaki where you know the living style & culture of the people of the village.
Day 12: Trek Narchyang Lekh to Paudwar (2000m) We have to travel through hillside with a view of Kali Gandaki valley & small villages. In Paudwar we can visit cheese making scheme which is unique of this place. We can get the chance to visit factory & learn about the process & enjoy a cheese tasting with local honey.
Day 13: Trek Paudwar to Ghorepani (2860m) In Ghorepani you can see dense Rhododendon forest. In Ghorepani there is Bazzar where you can buy things there.
You can also enjoy a hot shower.
Day 14: Trek Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) The most attraction of this trek is view of sunrise over Himalayan Mountains from Poon Hill.
Day 15: Trek Poon Hill to Nagi (2320m) From Poon Hill we will make our way back to Nagi
Day 16: Trek Nagi to Beni (830m) Today we have to walk back to Beni where we had started our trek.
Day 17: Drive Beni to Kathmandu: Drive back to kathmandu.
Day 18: Free day for shopping: You have a free day for shopping. In the evening there will be Nepali dinner with cultural show.
