10th April, 2014- Trek to Namche Bazaar

Ngima caught me off guard last night with the blog so hopefully this one will be a little more descriptive.  This morning Chris and I first woke up around 5am ready to start the day.  We slept around 10 hours last night)  After shuffling around and packing gear,  we managed to wake up Bob who was sleeping next door.

Breakfast was ordered the night before so when we arrived in the common room / restaurant it was ready for us.  After breakfast,  we were delayed a good ten minutes because of multiple mule trains going up and down the mountain.  Our hike uphill consisted of Chris asking Mingmar to teach her some Nepalese words.  It was very entertaining!  We stopped for lunch along the river Dhudkoshi.

Funny side story,  We have all been taking a lot of pictures,  and I commented to Chris that by looking at pictures of Bob,  you would think the trip was only one day s he has had the same clothes on since he landed on April 7th.
Further up the hill we crossed many steel cable bridges and then started a very steep hike to our destination for the day,  Namche Bazzar.  Our rooms are very spacious and the HOT showers were awesome!  (And btw,  Bob says he still won't take a shower)  Chris bought some bells and a rug.  Bob bought a massage.  Tony bought a necklace.  At dinner,  it started snowing outside.

Tomorrow starts our second day in Namche Bazzar so we shall see what tomorrow has in store for us.
