Nepalese Flat

Morning started with a wake up at 05.00 am in pitch dark. Started our second climb to Poon Hill 15 minutes later. We were unlucky with the weather as the mists did not disappear and the mountains remained obscured. Back down we went for breakfast and continued our journey at 8.00 am.

Luckily we had a break in the weather as we reached a high point of 3100 meters and the whole range of highest peaks was beoutifully displayed.

The route took us up and down in mostly wooded nature somethimes reminding a jungle. Our goal was to try to make a long day to catch up our schedule. Going up and down was very hard ( we called it Nepalese flat!) as total ascent was about 1200 meters and descent more than 2000 meters. In the end we caught up an extra half day. The rest we try to make in the next two days.

Our bodies are getting used to long days and hard work. Everybody is feeling fine, for now.

Jeevan and Tendi arrived at 4:30 pm to meet us in Siprong. Jeevan cheked computer and Pasi’s camera problems then he solved it.
