 Everest region is the second most popular trekking region of Nepal. It is the region of Mahalangur Himalaya range where the Mt Everest, the top of the world lies. The other famous mountains such as Cho Oyu (8153m), Lothse (8511m), Nuptse (7879m), Makalu (8470m), Ama Dablam (6856m) are located in this region. This is the most concentrated mountain region with the highest mountains of the world, where more than 200 peaks are higher than 6000m. To get there either you must walk for a week or fly out to Lukla. This region is excusably famous, not only by highest mountain but also for its Sherpa community and monasteries.
