We arrived in Tengboche yesterday afternoon. Although yesterday presented an afternoon rainstorm, we awoke to majestic view of Mt. Everest and her sister peaks. Overall, the group is handling the altitude well. The group is departing for Dingboche after a morning tour of the ancient Tengboche monastry. I myself have decided to head back down the mountain as the altitude does not agree with me. 13,000 feet is high enough. I will be escorted by a Sherpa named Karma and a porter, as well.
