The day started early – 05.30 – We are going to try a last chance to see Mount Everest. Small raining and cloudy – How were the chances?

After one hour waiting at the small airport we got the clear signal. The small airplane with just 18 passengers totally started. We got higher and higher and at last we got through the clouds – we were above. And there it was – the tops of big mountains – the roof of the world. An experience that is not easy to describe. The whole group were quite – which is very unusual.

After this magnificent experience we went with our bus to visit two villages. When we arrived we came to another century. It was like 17th century. Small narrow steets, where life in the village was situated, the small kids washing their hair, women washes clothes, lots of dogs, ducks, chicken. None of us have had seen anything like this. The time has stopped!

After these very interesting hours we went to a carpet factory where a lots of women making carpets- everything from wool to carpets.

The day continued with a lunch at the same place as the first day – at a terrace restaurant. The afternoon four of us went to the “monkey temple” located at one of the hills near the city. A wonderful view a marvellous temple and hundreds of monkeys.

Back at the hotel – then we had booked massage. Then farewell dinner at the restaurant where the trekkers went and where lots of memories were at walls, roof and floor.

After a very long day we went to bed after packing our luggage.
