This is our traveling day. We started early from Kathmandu to our destination Lhasa. Mr. Wongchu was a wonderful man to have on the airport. We were glad to have him. He helped us all the security to the boarding.
The flight to Lhasa was 1 hour and 20 minutes on brand new air china aircraft. On the way we crossed Himalaya Ranges. Some of us saw the beautiful view of Mt. Everest and other high mountain.
At the Lhasa airport we had to stay on the plane for at least an hour for inspection from the doctor. They measured our body temperature to see if any one of us have swain flu. It’s nice no one of us had swain flu. On the way to security, it went smoothly for everybody but Staffan had to spend a bit more time. He had book of Gorkha Soldiers with pictures and the security person took time to see book in detail because of Chinese political issue. We met our Tibet guide Tashi Rinzin at the airport and started trip to Lhasa.
