This morning started early (as always) , the Tea Boy came knocking on the door at 4.30 AM. It was totally dark, but the jungle sounds where amazing. Could you believe taking a shower to the sound of a million birds and other animals, singing in the shower was out of the question? After biscuit and Tea we set of for the elephant platform and the morning safari.

Temple Tiger Jungle Lodge where we stayed is actually in the jungle so the safari started the minute we started the Elephant ride, among the animals we had the pleasure approaching real close to was birds and the one horned Rhinoceros. But the most fascinating thing was to explore the sunrise over the jungle, could you believe sitting on the back of an elephant among al these animals overlooking the first mountains in the Himalayan Mountains, marvellous is the word.

After the safari we had breakfast, and some of us set of for a jungle walk and elephant study, we learned about the wildlife preserve and how to feed and breed elephants. This was really a life- time experience and knowledge when you listen to a guide explaining what they do than you have hoped for the world.
After crossing the river the Narayani River we got on the bus for a bumpy ride back to the airport of Bharatpur. On the flight back one of our group members became stomach sick and I promise you he made an enormous effort not trowing up inside this small airplane.
We can only say Thank You.

Back in Katmandue it was time for a city walk an exploration of the intensive street life. The target was the World Heritage site Hanuman-Dhoka Durbar Square. This is an enormously religious place for both Buddhist and Hindus. The entire place was filled with temples and religious art effects. We had the possibility of seeing the famous Kumari girl, she is believed to have the religious ability. The day finished with Thai food and an early night in bed getting ready for a new day of tomorrow.
