28 April, 2010- From Lukla

Our trip has finally come to an end.  We just finished enjoying yak sizzler, fresh veges, french fries, and a khumbu glacier snickers melt (deep fried snickers bar).  We are full, satisfied, and anxious for some clean clothes and shower.   Will certainly miss our porters when we have to haul our giant bags around in the airports. We plan on leaving Lukla tomorrow morning and head back to Kathmandu.  We are looking forward to having an exciting take off and catch our last glimpses of snow capped peaks.  We had an awesome adventure and will miss our new friends.  We couldn’t have been happier with Peak Promotions.  Ang Dawa and Ang Karma took great care of us and even laughed at a few of our jokes. Will miss Ang Karma slow and steady pace and Ang Dawas encouragement to “walk more, talk less”. Thanks for following us on our trip.  Hope there are more adventures to follow.
