Peak Promotion welcomes the HRA’s friends to Nepal. The team of 17 trekkers headed to Kathmandu for trekking into Everest Base Camp. The team will be trekking with Dr. Luanne Freer and Dr. Eric Johnson of Himalayan Rescue Association who are also heading up to Everest Base Camp for setting up their medical camp for the spring climbing season. Wongchu Sherpa, the Managing Director of Peak Promotion will be guiding them.
The team includes medical professionals as well as others. For many in the group, this is their first time to Asia and they all decided to trek to the base of the world’s highest mountain – Mt. Everest. |
