Tomorrow Kame, Pemba and I will leave BC for our summit bid. We expect to summit on May 19th or 20th and be back in base camp by May 21st the latest. Needless to say, today was a day of packing, resting, and in my case, continued eating. The rest days have helped me tremendously and as a result I feel pretty good for this summit bid. Several teams were in the icefall this morning on their way up and we expect to have the same tomorrow and the days to follow.

Thanks to the docs for the meal plan. Also, thanks to cook Pemba, Nema and especially Karma for keeping me fed these last few days. Once I didn't finish my meal and Karma came back to ask what was going on.

Thanks to all for the emails with the kind words and encouragement and for having me in your thoughts and prayers. I'll update the cybercast when I get back to BC.
