After breakfast up at camp two Mingmar, Pemba and I headed back down to base camp. Last night was calm and clear. Unfortunately the Chinese were resting after their attempt on the summit the day before. You have to wonder about their timing? We left camp two about 9 AM and got down to base camp at 12:30 PM. Needless to say it was a very warm hike down in calm sunny conditions.

Down at base camp there was little going on! We ate, read, sat around and talked too much about the Chinese getting to the summit some day! After dinner we watched a movie and than to bed.
