We spent three hours hiking up and down the Khumbu moraine passing many yaks coming down and trekkers going both directions on the trail. There was some light snow in the morning and we were in the clouds much of the time.

We got settled in at the Gorak Shep about 1 PM and took it easy the rest of the day playing cards and reading. The dinning area was crowded with climbers and trekkers heading up and down from Everest base camp. Food and accommodations in the lodges have been good, but we are all looking forward to a little more peace and quiet at base camp.
