After successful filming and trekking, David and rest of the group arrived in Kathmandu from Syangboche in Helicopter today. Wongchu Sherpa was at the Airport to welcome them. Then after, group left to Yak & Yeti Hotel which is very nice five star hotel in Nepal.
In Everest Base Camp and Gokyo there is no access of communication. So, we have included activities of Gokyo in today’s update.
08 Dec – Started their trek from Gorakshep to Lobuche and stayed at Dzongla. Next day, 09 Dec again the group continued their trek to Chola Pass from Dzongla and arrived in Gokyo. In 10 Dec, David and his group went to Gokyo-Ri to film and view sunset. It is the best season to view very beautiful full moon. In 11 Dec, Group tried out over Gokyo main peak to find out the easy route to get to the top and return. In 12, 13, 14 and 15th of December they had film-shooting around Gokyo of sun-set from above fifth Lake of Gokyo area, full moon-rise the top of Gokyo Peak and a lot.
