Watch Video

Shopping and sightseeing at the lakeside in Pokhara in the morning. It was a bit cloudy but warm. Eleven o, clock started the travel to the Chitwan jungle. We traveled along the river Trisuli. It became wider and wider.

We saw how the local people worked at the ricefields with help from buffels.
After about five hours the bus stopped at the riverside. We where taken by boat over the river and picked up by two jeeps for final transportation to Temple Tiger lodge and Resort situated in the Chitawan National Park.

Going to Temple Tiger Lodge and Resort by jeep

After a bit delayed lunch we were having a nice ride on three huge elephants and we were lucky to see a lot of rhinos, wild boars, deers and also some big wild birds. We finished the evening with a pleasant dinner, and our adventure in the jungle will be continued tomorrow.
