Group haaving brekfast

Breakfast was very nice.  It was sunny morning and we could wear T-shirts.

At breakfast, we had a good laugh about Ove’s shock adventure.  He looked desperately to his tent to find and blamed Magnus, his son for stealing it.  Finally, he found it – he had two shocks in his one feet.

Then, we started walking down to the river 600 altitude meters.  We had a lesson from Tendi about flower, trees, bee hive.  We stopped and saw a woman cleaning rice. We then crossed the river, Likhu Khola.  We met donkeys who walked over the same suspension bridge.  This is 1,500 m. and lowest altitude for today.

Now, we have a 850 m. climb up to the camp but this side is completely different with flora.  We saw orange, banana, walnut, sugarcane, peaches, etc.

Every where we go, people are so friendly and happy to talk to us.  The lady we met at lunch time, Kumari Basnet, 63 years old who studied English in Calcutta.  As always, we had super good lunch with view of beautiful peak of Number.

Potter resting

After lunch, we climbed up to our camp, Namkile 2,350 m.  We just finished very nice dinner and our sleeping bags are calling us.
