  30 October, 2010 - from Namche

After early morning tea serve in the room by our guide Tendi, follow by quick breakfast and we started our trek towards Namche. Traffic on the trail first hour was very slow but later we starting caravan of yaks, donkeys and horses and the porters. The first three hour was very hilly up and down and we cross several cable bridges. We had lunch at Monjo, fried rice with vegetable and black tea. We were sitting outside enjoying the blue sky. After lunch the real trekking started with steps climbs and tough descent inside the pine forests. The last two hours was up- up- up and we crossed very scary bridge. Lisa closes her eyes and walked forward holding the cable with her hands. After the bridge steep hill we were looking forward to get some food, hot shower at Namche. Altogether it has been very exciting day.
Tomorrow is our hiking days.  According to our guide we will hike up to Everest view hotel. I am very much excited knowing that to view the clear view of Everest.
On the way we meet 2 Canadian friends John and Bob. They show great interest towards our blog and want to share with us.

We are heading for the top of the world and meeting the world on the way up. Everyone we have met is eager to share their excitement with others on the trail and guesthouses. At our guesthouse we began a dice game with guides and porters from a couple of groups and the excitement generated attracted a huge crowd of on lookers. The players were from Canada and Sweden along with the Nepali hosts. It was during this game we met Tendi and from Peak Promotion, a trekking outfit from Nepal. The two of them were extremely friendly and welcoming to Bob and myself, also they provided a wealth of information on the Everest region as well as other amazing possibilities of trekking around Nepal.
has been excellent in setting up such a web blog and cyber cast; this is an innovated and unique development in the trekking of Nepal.  It is an awesome opportunity for family and friends to share the experience that those fortunate enough to visit this amazing area of the world. Hopefully the information coming straight from Nepal will encourage others to come and visit these incredible sights and fabulous hosts.
Bob and I are doing very well on arrival in Namche on day two with all the big sights yet to come. We wish all the others the best of health and luck on their adventure and will check the blog to monitor their progress – JOHN FROM CANADA
