We woke up in the Hotel Barahi in Pokhara, had breakfast and headed out to the airport at about 8am for a 9:30 flight. Ceilings and visibility were too low, so we waited on a rooftop patio for the weather to clear. Around 1pm flights started and we boarded a Do228 (19 seat airplane) for our flight to Kathmandu. The flight was quick, even counting a half hour of holding for traffic, and we arrived without incident.
Peak Promotion treated us to a traditional Nepalese dinner with local music and dance. This was set in a beautiful old palace and the food and drink were exceptionally good - a real feast! Then we returned to the “Yak and Yeti,” a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu.
