Hello Family and Friends!

Today was our third day of our trek from Lukla. And we did a pack free day trip from Namache Bazar at 11,300 feet to the Japanese owned Everest View Hotel at 12,457 feet. Along the way we saw the world’s highest airport at Shyangboche (11,972Feet) which hasbeen "Mothballed" since a 1995 aIR crash. Now it is used only for emergency helicopter evacuations. Our first clear view of Everest was a beauty! Alongside it stood Lhotse and Ama Dablam.

We learned the narrow window for Everest summit attempts is between May 15 and 25. Only ten days for the 30 teams on the mountain. This year! The record for the fastest trip between Everest base camp and the summit Is eight hours and 15th minutes, held by Mr. Pemba Dorjee Sherpa.
Thank You for visiting our cyber cast. We hope you are well.

Bob
